Blue Ribbon Construction built a beautiful outdoor pavilion in our backyard on a concrete slab. The pavilion was built with cedar wood and was complete with a composite shingle roof to match our house. A lot of effort was put into the details of the construction. Brock showed up when he said he would and cleaned up nicely at the end of each day. He returned all calls timely and was very kind and easy to work with.
Brock did a great job on multiple projects around our house – deck extension, wet bar, full bathroom remodel down to the studs. We were looking for an owner/operator contractor where we knew we were working directly with and paying the person doing the work – not a lot of subs. Brock fit this perfectly. If you know exactly what you want to achieve, he is great at taking your ideas and being able to articulate the good things and the challenges in your idea, and come up with a workable solution. I highly recommend him if you like sourcing most of your own materials for the project and coming up with your own designs/plans. If you would prefer to pay the high overheads to have a project manager involved in a remodel (someone not doing the work, but tracking/paying attention to the details), Brock is probably not your guy, but be prepared to pay a lot more as well for that level of service.There were some details along the way that felt like they got missed and created a bit of a scramble at times, but nothing that altered the outcome or timeline and worth it to have this quality of work. He shows up on time every day, is respectful of your home/family, and hits his timelines. We will very likely use Brock again and recommend you check him out as well!

We received a couple of bids on a small renovation project to remove a closet, open up the enclosed stairwell to the basement and put replace our kitchen countertops and backsplash. We chose Blue Ribbon Construction based on Brock’s professionalism and detailed explanation of what the job would entail, how long the job would take and how much it would cost. Brock let us know what time he would be there and how long the project would take. He knocked the project out and it turned out better than expected. He stayed right on budget and right on time. I would highly recommend using Blue Ribbon Construction to anyone. UPDATE: we have had several people over since Brock finished the remodel and everyone commented on the quality of workmanship on opening up our staircase and the opening between our family room and living room. More then a few asked for Brock’s company contact information. I not only gave them his information, but enthusiastically gave the highest recommendation I could. I will never lose Brock’s number and will absolutely use him for future projects.
Had a wonderful experience with this company!! Brock and his team finished my basement with a beautiful family room and spare room with a walk in closet. I had purchased an older home and was limited on options. Brock showed me knowledge is power! My Daughter loves her new room with the biggest closet she’s ever seen. I love the built in shelves she actually uses! We are making many memories in our new family room. I can not thank Blue Ribbon Construction enough!!
Brock is the best in Wichita!! So glad I didn’t call anyone else! We called Brock out to remove our drop in oven and put in a slide in. He came out a few days after calling and talking with him. He made sure to talk to us about what he was going to do and made sure he answered any questions or concerns we had. He came out on Memorial Day right on time at 8:30 which we appreciated. It took him about 2 hours to complete the job. He was very accurate on his cuts and made sure the oven was put in just how we wanted it. It looks amazing! We are so happy with his work. Please read the reviews and trust the 5 stars! You won’t regret it. I will definitely have Brock back out when we need more work done to our house in the near future!
Brock did a great job on our home remodel which included a back room pantry, washer and dryer nook, closet stub in, and shower install in the 1/2 bath. He made sure everything was done to his very high standards. Brock is so set on keeping his customers happy, he’s agreed to come out and set our pantry door and cabinet that was on back order. Highly recommended!
Brock gutted my 1954 kitchen and brought it to life! He turned it into a masterpiece and now it feels like I live on a golf course. I couldn’t be happier, it came out exactly as I envisioned. Thank you!
Brock and Mark built a beaiutful wood patio covering for my patio. I would reccomend them to everyone. Great work ethic reasonable pricing beaiutful work these guys are great. They want to make sure u are happy with there work.

Best contractor in Wichita! Our master bedroom exterior wall was completely blackened and moldy. Brock was quick to respond and bid very reasonably. Job was scheduled and finished in a timely manner and kept open communication the entire process. We will definitely look towards Blue Ribbon for future projects!
I highly recommend Blue Ribbon Construction. They finished a bathroom for us and were very professional the entire time. The project stayed right on budget and anytime there needed to be a change they communicated that with us and got the issue resolved quickly.

Blue Ribbon was a very lucky find for me. I needed to update and expand my mother’s old house. I called several local contractors, but was most impressed with Brock. He added 2 large rooms, a fireplace, and renovated the original bathroom. Then he gutted the kitchen and installed new cabinets. I have new wood floors through out the house. Brock knew what sub-contractors to use. Granite counter tops, new floors, a wonderful painter. His prices are very reasonable, he’s very reliable and honest. If he doesn’t know how to do something, he knows someone who does. I really like that!
I hired Blue Ribbon Construction to build a master bathroom onto to our home. Brock Patterson did an excellent job doing all the framing and finish work himself. Brock showed up when it was below freezing and framed. His subs that did the foundation and mechanical work were professional. Would hire Blue Ribbon Construction if I had another project.
Brock Patterson from Blue Ribbon Construction LLC., was by far the most professional and experienced carpenter we could have ever hired to finish our deck to perfection. He is a motivated one man show, who will impress you with his great attitude and ability to meet every project demand you might have. I would recommend him to family and friends and would hire him for any future carpentry needs. Another thing to note, our deck quote from Brock was $2K under the nearest competitor.
Brock finished our basement in NE Wichita. He was very professional, prompt and the cost was lower than another company we reviewed. We were very happy with the work he did. He provided references upon request, explained the work and the contract and the contractors he provided were excellent. We would totally recommend him to someone.
Brock is a craftsman and a gentleman! He remodeled our bathroom and did several jobs in our kitchen. His work is superb and he is extremely reliable. We never had to worry if he would show up or if his work would be of an exceptional quality. The budget we agreed upon was met and there were no surprises at the end of the job. We would recommend him and his work to anybody.
Brock has done a nice job on my roof, siding, garage, and windows. he is a straight shooter, easy to discuss the projects with. He provides an explanation of the work and associated costs prior to getting underway so you don’t have that feeling someone’s hand is in your pocket trying to gouge you or will unveil some unforeseen charges down the road.
Months later I still stand in the middle of our master bathroom, remodeled by Brock, and say “WOW”! It really turned out beautiful. Brock was honest, reliable, and if there was something we wanted changed or tweaked, he took care of it. Quality job; well done Brock!
