At Blue Ribbon Construction, we encourage all of our customers to get as involved in the design as they can so we can determine what needs to be implemented in order to make your new kitchen into what you and your family desire. After all, the focus and goal of every remodeling design is to give you everything you want and need in your new space.
Finding Your Style in Your Wichita Remodeling Kitchen Design
Sometimes our customers know exactly what they like, and sometimes they don’t. Then also the other members of the family who will share the kitchen area may or may not want to have a say in the design of your new kitchen. If you have trouble figuring out exactly what design style you like, you’re not alone.
It can get confusing when you like bits of one style and bits of several others. But we have a name for this because it’s very common for people to like several elements from different styles. This is called, “an eclectic design,” meaning that the design is derived from ideas, style, or taste from a broad and diverse range of sources.
If you’ve ever done any art or even collected pieces or knickknacks that you love, we can use those to determine what elements we can incorporate into your design. Also helpful are photos in magazines or other printouts that appeal to you. We’ll figure out together what exactly about the images or knickknacks you are drawn to and use them to create a design that is cohesive and elegant!
